MAYPOLE ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES

We believe that young people from Druids Heath should have the same opportunities to take part in adventure activities as those who are more privileged. Our adventure programmes currently funded by Birmingham City Council, YPDP and SRB5 are designed to raise the aspirations of young people and to offer them the chance to be involved in new and exciting pastimes.

The Maypole afloat and maypole adventure are programmes offering exciting activities on water and on land for groups of up to 14 young people. Both programmes end in a residential opportunity, one a week at sea sailing across to the Channel Islands and France and one an adventure weekend in Wales climbing, mountain biking and gorge walking.
